Christopher C. Botta

Christopher C. Botta practices in the areas of insurance defense litigation, municipal law, commercial litigation, labor and employment law and insurance coverage analysis. In addition to his current responsibilities as a Managing Partner of the fi rm of Botta & Associates, LLC, in Ramsey, New Jersey, Mr. Botta is also the current Mayor of the Borough of Ramsey, and now heads Rubinton & Laufer, PA’s New Jersey offi ce. He currently holds an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubble.

Mr. Botta received a B.A. from College of the Holy Cross. He received his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law in 1992. While completing his law degree, Mr. Botta served as the Articles Editor for the Fordham Urban Law Journal. Mr. Botta has been admitted to the Bars of New Jersey (1992), New York (1993), and the District of Columbia (1994). He has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the State of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Bergen County (New Jersey) Bar Association.

Mr. Botta began his legal career as a Law Clerk to the Law Clerk to The Honorable Peter F. Boggia, Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, Law Division. He then held positions as an Associate for the fi rms of Clauson Miller, P.C. in New York and for Carver & Mancinelli, in Westwood, New Jersey. He was then made a partner at the firm of Huntington Carver, LLP, also in Westwood. Following his tenure there, Mr. Botta became a Managing Partner of Botta & Carver, LLP, in Ramsay, New Jersey, ending in 2008.
