Ian M. Alperstein

Ian M. Alperstein practices in the areas of first party insurance litigation, property damage defense litigation, and insurance coverage defense.

Mr. Alperstein received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida. After completing his studies, he worked for several years in the mortgage banking industry before returning to the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. While attending laws school, Mr. Alperstein co-authored the 2007 edition of the Handbook of Florida Agricultural Laws. He also worked as a clerk for the criminal defense fi rm of Allan H. Kay, P.A. in Gainesville.

He received his J.D. in December of 2007, graduating Cum Laude. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in May of 2008.

Prior to joining Rubinton & Laufer, Mr. Alperstein worked as an Associate at Hightower & Partners, P.A., an insurance defense fi rm located in Miami. He focused primarily on fi rst party insurance litigation, managing over 50 case fi les for fi rst-party insurance policy disputes.
